The Prophetic Timeline

This Prophetic Timeline was developed as a visual reference system to track God’s prophetic revelation through the prophets Daniel and John. The Prophetic Timeline was developed using resources that espoused the time-tested Historical method as opposed to the modern Futuristic and Preterist methods of Bible interpretation.

This Prophetic Timeline was developed as a quick guide to steer the user away from the maze of confusion regarding prophetic revelation into sure safe paths of the Reformation. This guide was not developed to replace further study but rather a guide to aid the student in Bible Prophetic Interpretation.

This Prophetic Timeline was developed as a means of comparing the various chapters of Daniel and the Revelation. Through this bird’s eye view we gain the perspective needed to see how God chose to reveal the events or way marks in our journey to the New Jerusalem, that we might have faith for the future as we see these events fulfilled.

For we read that Christ told us in John 14:29 “And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.” Further in inspiration we read that “In reviewing our past history, having travelled over every step of advance to our present standing, I can say, Praise God! As I see what the Lord has wrought, I am filled with astonishment, and with confidence in Christ as leader. We have nothing to fear for the future, except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us, and His teaching in our past history.—Life Sketches of Ellen G. White, 196 (1902).”.
